Our History

Celebrating over 70 years of service to the community, Lovelady, NSDAR, was organized in 1946 by Mrs. George Taylor in Pennington Gap, Virginia.

Behind the Name

The chapter is named after patriot Thomas Lovelady, after whom Lovelady Gap was named. Lovelady was also an early settler in Lee County.

Meetings

Our chapter meetings are held on the third Saturday of each month, September through May.
