Our chapter meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month, March through December.
Our History
Celebrating over 50 years of service to the community, New River Pioneer Chapter, NSDAR, was organized in 1969 by Luemma Phipps in Independence, Virginia.
Behind the Name
The New River Pioneer Chapter is named after the river which runs through Grayson and surrounding counties and for the pioneers who settled the area.
