Meetings
Our chapter meetings are generally held on the second Saturday of each month, September through May.
Our History
Celebrating over 35 years of service to the community. Ann Maria Fitzhugh Chapter, NSDAR, was organized on April 19, 1982, by Lois Wogstad in Springfield, Virginia.
Behind the Name
Our chapter's organizing members had homes located on land which was originally part of the Ravensworth estate. This estate was once owned by the prominent Fitzhugh family. Our chapter’s namesake, Anna Maria Fitzhugh, owned the Ravensworth estate from 1830 until 1874.
