Our chapter meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month, September through May.
Our History
Celebrating over 30 years of service to the community, Francis Land Chapter, NSDAR, was organized in 1983 by Mrs. Kaye Walker Mitchell in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Behind the Name
Our chapter was named after Francis Land, a prominent land owner. His family lived on the site between 1630-1850. Goods and supplies arrived on his docks to be distributed throughout the Tidewater area.
