Meetings

Our chapter meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month, September through May.

Our History

Celebrating over 90 years of service to the community, Judith Randolph-Longwood Chapter, NSDAR, was organized in 1925 by Mrs. Kate Elliott Wall in Farmville, Virginia.

Behind the Name

Judith Randolph was the wife of Richard Randolph; the couple lived at Bizarre Plantation just over the border in Cumberland County in the 18th century. Judith's name is closely interwoven with the early history of the town of Farmville, which is located on part of her estate. The Longwood Chapter, founded in 1965, joined the Judith Randolph Chapter in 1989. The Longwood Chapter was named for Longwood Estate, a historic edifice in Farmville.
