Behind the Name
The chapter name, Overwharton Parish, is the original name of the Aquia Church Parish in the 18th century. The church was built in 1757.
Membership
New members are welcome! Chapter members enjoy participating in programs and activities that honor and remember the generation of the American Revolution and strive to remember the service of those patriots and veterans of all wars. Meetings consist of programs and other educational activities with a focus on local history. Overwharton Chapter strives to fulfill the ideals and goals of the National organization.
