Meetings
Our chapter meetings are held on the third Monday of each month, September through May.
Our History
Celebrating over 80 years of service to the community, Peaks of Otter Chapter, NSDAR, was organized in 1930 by Mrs. Annette Tyler Leache Gemmell in Bedford, Virginia.
Behind the Name
The chapter is named after the Peaks of Otter Mountains, Sharp Top and Flat Top, that tower 4,000 feet high on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Bedford County.
