Our chapter meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month, September through May.
Our History
Celebrating over 5 years of service to the community, Stuart-Wilderness Road Chapter, NSDAR, was organized in 2013 by Mrs. Elizabeth Trevillian in Wytheville, Virginia.
Behind the Name
Stuart-Wilderness Road is a merged chapter combining two chapters in southwest Virginia. The Wilderness Road was made famous by Daniel Boone as he followed this old pathway as he blazed a trail through the Cumberland Gap to Kentucky, opening settlement for many colonial families.
